Should Egypt make it to the final of the competition, though, Salah may return to Ivory Coast to help his side, Klopp said.

"If he is fit before the final then probably yes, [he will go back]," the Liverpool coach told reporters.

Klopp and Liverpool will be excited to have the 31-year-old back once he is fit to play. The Reds managed to overpower Bournemouth without their talisman, though, as Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez scored twice each to fire Klopp's team to a 4-0 win on Sunday.
