Erling Haaland has broken Mohamed Salah's record after the most FPL managers ever made the Manchester City star their Triple Captain.

The Manchester City goal machine has broken yet another record – albeit off the pitch – as over 1.3 million FPL managers made him their 'Triple Captain' for the gameweek 25. The move means the striker beats the record previously held by Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah. Over 1.1m managers made the Liverpool talisman their Triple Captain in February 2022.

Since coming back from injury, the Norwegian has appeared in four games, including three in the Premier League. In the last game week, the striker netted a brace in the Cityzens' comfortable 2-0 win over Everton at the Etihad. Overall, the 23-year-old has scored 16 league goals in 18 appearances in the current season and has provided five assists.
